Connect2Care, a research study at the OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center, uses SMS/MMS to communicate with individuals who request information about the study and/or agree to participate in study-related activities.

How to opt in

You may opt in by submitting your mobile number through our secure REDCap form and affirmatively agreeing to receive study-related text messages from Connect2Care.

Messages from Connect2Care may include:

  • Follow-up related to study interest
  • Eligibility screening coordination
  • Scheduling and appointment reminders
  • Study instructions
  • Reminders to complete study activities (such as surveys)
  • Secure links to study materials
  • Two-way support for questions or rescheduling

Privacy (mobile data)

We use your phone number only for study-related communications that you requested or consented to receive from Connect2Care. Mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in consent data will not be shared with any third parties. We may use service providers only as necessary to deliver these study-related communications.
