HEROES Research Lab - Text Messaging Terms & Privacy (SMS/MMS)

HEROES Research Lab (University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center/Stephenson Cancer Center) uses SMS/MMS to communicate with individuals who request research information and/or participate in research studies.

How to opt in

You opt in by submitting your mobile number through our secure REDCap form and affirmatively agreeing to receive study-related text messages from HEROES Research Lab.

What messages you will receive

Messages may include study interest follow-up, eligibility screening coordination, scheduling and appointment reminders, study instructions, reminders to complete study activities (e.g., surveys), secure links to study materials, and two-way support for questions or rescheduling.
